Trapdoor Social is a Los Angeles band creating new wavelengths of musical vibration, drawing from roots in alternative and indie rock, infusing big band saxophone and brass sections, and fighting for a brighter future with politically charged lyrics and solar-powered concerts. Led by songwriter Skylar Funk, producer Curt Schneider (John Mayer, Rod Stewart), drummer Grant Dickerson, and guitarist Louie Gonzalez. The new album includes Spanish and Portuguese language moments, joyous guitars and earnest, emotive rock. After a European and UK tour with the B-52’s, legendary frontman Fred Schneider became a fan and partners with them on the ‘Echobloom’ album track “Prophit.”
